PASTOR FRANZ REMIGIO

Pastor Remigio is a native New Yorker who was raised in the Morris Park section of The Bronx. He has worked in Williamsburg, Brooklyn as a High School English teacher and currently teaches High School English in The Bronx. He is well acquainted with this city and its diverse culture. He received Christ as his Savior at the age of 19 and has been a faithful member of the Open Door Bible Baptist Church of Astoria for 17 years.  For the last 15yrs, Pastor Remigio has served in his local church as a song leader, youth leader, junior church worker, Sunday School teacher, and wherever else needed.

He met his wife through a mutual friend who met her in Oklahoma City while attending Bible College. After getting to know each other for some time, they realized it was God’s will for them to get married. They are now blessed parents of a handsome 3yr old boy.

Pastor Remigio has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Hunter College and a Master’s Degree in Education from Brooklyn College. He felt God’s call to preach early on as a Christian. He was subsequently trained by Pastor Pete Montoro at his local church’s Bible institute, for the purpose of starting a new church plant in the future.

The time has now come for this new church plant to start. Under the authority of their sending church, the Remigio family has now begun a new work in Morris Park for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission and leading souls to a personal relationship with Christ their Lord and Savior.

The Remigio’s reside in the Morris Park section of The Bronx.
